Wolfgang Weber, who has coached Salpointe Catholicβs boys soccer teams to six state championships, is recovering from triple bypass heart surgery at Banner Health UMC. At 69, Weber, the Father of Tucson Soccer, remains active with Tucson Soccer Academy, as a board member and coach, and it wouldnβt be much of a surprise if he returns to coach the Lancers when they open the season just after Thanksgiving. We wish him the best.Β
