Girl who freed dog deserves recognition

Re: the Jan. 17 article “Dog recovering after found hanging from tree near Oracle, Limberlost.”

A 15-year-old-girl climbs the tree and frees the dog. She knew what needed to be done and did it. She deserves a commendation. Her family must be proud. Our family supports the local Humane Society and conservation organizations.
