Banner-UMC hires surgeon BarthΒ
Pediatric cardiac surgeon Dr. Mary-Jane Barth joined the medical staff of Banner-University Medical Center Tucson and the faculty of the University of Arizona Department of Surgery.
She comes from Childrenβs Hospital of Saint Francis in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she held faculty positions for University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University pediatric residents.
Barth received her medical degree and completed her residency in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery at University of Texas Southwestern. She was a pediatric cardiac surgeon for the Heart Institute for Children in Chicago. Her expertise is correcting congenital abnormalities of the heart.
