Friends Gloria Sacco, right, Kaye Wyatt buck the idea that carousels are for the kids as they hop on during the first day of operation for the Reid Park Zoo’s new carousel at the zoo, 3400 E. Zoo Court, in Tucson, Ariz. Also joining them is Fran Hines, in the background. The American-made carousel features seats designed in the likeness of 30 different animal species, all under a safari-like thatched hut roof. The carousel operates daily for a $3 admission, while parents and guardians may stand alongside children at no charge. Photo taken Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015.
