Salpointe Catholic basketball coach Brian Holstrom has aggressively scheduled a 16-team Tip-Off Classic to open the boys hoops season that begins Monday and will continue at Salpointe from 3:30-8 p.m., on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Among the eight local teams in the field will be some of Tucson’s leading players: Cholla’s Jorge Carrasco, Sunnyside’s Jacob Inclan and Ironwood Ridge’s Austin Aguilar.
