Local hockey collides with a galaxy far, far away this Friday as the Tucson Roadrunners host "Star Wars" night at the Tucson Convention Center, 260 S. Church Ave., this Friday.
A smattering of characters from the 'Star Wars' franchise will be there from 6 to 7 p.m. and kids will receive Roadrunner lightsabers.
Movie tickets will be given out and "Star Wars"-themed interactive elements will be featured throughout the 7:05 p.m. game against the San Antonio Rampage, according to the Roadrunners Facebook page.
