Catalina Foothills announces new hire

Catalina Foothills School District announced: Julie M. Nikolas has been named assistant principal at Orange Grove Middle School and a learning support specialist for the Catalina Foothills district.

Nikolas has more than 25 years of teaching experience, including more than 17 years of teaching experience in K-12 classrooms. For more than 15 years, she served as a private consultant for the South Dakota Department of Education.

Nikolas holds a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of South Dakota and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Northern State University in South Dakota.
