Laws on home-based businesses

A new law curbs the ability of counties to require owners of home-based businesses to make various improvements to their property, such as installing shelving, display racks or new exterior doors. Business owners also are now permitted to display temporary signs on the property, no larger than 2 feet by 2 feet.
