Kingfisher hits its last stop on its summer road trip meal series with a Down Home Southern menu, running from Thursday, August 17, to September 3.ย

In addition to its regular menu offerings, the restaurant will be serving top-to-bottom Southern-style cuisine, things such as a Creole barbecue shrimp and grits, deep fried crawfish, pig picked pork with Carolina BBQ sauce, blackened redfish and crawfish Etouffe.

Desserts complement the meals: A banana layer cake and a peach cobbler. Even the drinks take on a Southern flavor, with a St. Charles Punch, Macon Manhattan and Abita Brewing's "Purple Haze" beer all available.

Reservations are always recommended as Kingfisher tends to get busy.ย
