Rosenblatt says: It would make sense for the Saints to draft a quarterback to groom behind the 90-year-old (but still producing) Drew Brees, but Howard is too big of a talent to pass up. He didn’t put up huge numbers in college — 595 yards and 3 touchdowns as a senior — but should shine in New Orleans, which has struggled at tight end since Jimmy Graham left.
