Mack waits for Miller

Because he says he gets tired of talking on the phone, Mack said his friendship with Miller is mostly carried out via text message during the season. And this week, naturally, the communication was even more limited after Xavier and Arizona advanced to play each other in the Sweet 16 today. “I was waiting to see Sean reach out because it’s just like Sean to reach out first in these situations, and he did,” Mack said. “It was more of a congratulatory text. He just said he was excited to see my wife and kids, and completely pushed me to the side. So that was about it.” The two did get a chance to catch up for a few minutes in person between Xavier’s press conference and public shootaround, however.
