Frida Kahlo: Art, Garden, Life

Humberto Spindola’s amate paper art sculpture of Two Fridas, Kahlo’s double self-portrait, is part of the Tucson Botanical Gardens exhibition, Frida Kahlo: Art, Garden, Life which opened Monday, October 10.

Tucson's longtime modern dance troupe, ZUZI! Dance has joined forces with Tucson Botanical Garden, 2150 N. Alvernon Way, for a production inspired by the Garden's ongoing "Frida Kahlo: Art, Garden, Life" exhibit, this Friday.

The performance will include a healthy mix of dance, visual arts, spoken word and live music, all relating to Kahlo, her love Diego Rivera, and her Mexican heritage.

The show starts at 7 p.m. More information can be found on the ZUZI website.
