Rough end

Arizona’s game certainly wasn’t an easy pill to swallow, but Baylor guard Lester Medford may have had it worse.

Medford, a Tucson native and Amphitheater High School product, had the ball in his hands with his team down two points in the final seconds of Thursday’s game against Yale. Medford dribbled behind his back as he attempted to drive, slipped and lost control of the ball.

As a result, the Bears lost to 12-seed Yale. The Bulldogs’ NCAA Tournament win was their first in program history.
