WSU double-double machine Josh Hawkinson has been a nemesis of the Wildcats for, well, ever. But his father has actually become a business partner with Arizona.ย
Nels Hawkinson runs the company that is organizing the Wildcatsโ exhibition trip to Spain next August, when the Wildcats will play games in Valencia and Barcelona.
He started Basketball Travelers Inc. in 2000 after vacationing in the Virgin Islands. He started the Virgin Islands' Paradise Jam multi-team event, in which Washington State played this season, and annually organizes foreign trips for high school and college teams.
The Cougars also visited Italy for their exhibition trip last summer on a Basketball Travelers itinerary.ย
