Tucson-based Strongpoint Marketing has merged with a Delaware company, MÃļbius New Media, to form a new firm offering a broad array of marketing and new-media services.
The merged firm, NÃŧPoint Marketing, is headquartered in Tucson and operating both in Tucson and in Wilmington, Delaware, where Strongpoint already had an office.
Strongpoint had 14 employees and Wilmington-based MÃļbius employed 10, all of which were retained in the merged company.
The merger combines Strongpointâs marketing savvy with MÃļbiusâ expertise in digital and creative services, the companies said.
âStrongpoint has long been deep in market research, communications strategy, content development, PR and events, but often collaborated with other firms, such as MÃļbius, for digital and creative services,â said Strongpoint founder Mary Rowley, who is CEO and managing partner of NÃŧPoint. âAs a merged entity, NÃŧPoint now offers clients all of this as one company.â
Matt Urban, who co-founded MÃļbius in 1996, is a managing partner of NÃŧPoint, along with Jim Donahue, who founded Strongpointâs office in Wilmington in 2011.
Strongpoint, launched in 2003 as a public relations firm, acquired a market research company in 2010 and has provided marketing strategy, content development, public relations and crisis communications, issues election-campaign management, and special-events management.
Its local clients have included Cox Communications, Hudbay Minerals, the Southern Arizona Leadership Council, the Southern Arizona Defense Alliance, Tucson Values Teachers, Girls Scouts of Southern Arizona and the Tucson Metro Chamber.
MÃļbius started as a boutique website development company and expanded to offer web hosting, branding, advertising, print design, video production, photography, search-engine marketing, social media marketing and marketing strategy services.
