• Hughes Federal Credit Union:

As part of the Credit Unions for Kids program, Hughes made a $14,000 contribution to TMC for Children. The donation was made possible through in-branch chocolate sales and cash donations made by employees and members throughout the year. In December, as part of a separate effort, Hughes joined other local organizations in supporting TMC for Children at Mix Miracles Radiothon with 94.9 MIXfm and collectively fundraised a total of $236,000. All funds went to TMC for Children to help purchase new hospital equipment, support programs and to provide uninsured and underinsured children in Southern Arizona with care. The credit union also donated $500 to Banner Health Diamond Children’s Medical Center, along with 12 bins of art supplies and toys in December.

  • Citi: Citi donated $35,000 to Southern Arizona Adaptive Sports to provide free or low-cost adaptive sports programming in Southern Arizona. The donation will support Southern Arizona Adaptive Sports as they create opportunities for people with disabilities to take part in recreational and competitive sports. Since 2019, Citi has donated $65,000 to Southern Arizona Adaptive Sports.
  • Sam Levitz Furniture and Mr. An’s: Sam Levitz and Tu Nidito partnered to raise awareness and money for grieving children and their families. A total of $134,563 was raised for Tu Nidito. The Tu Nidito Holiday Donation Drive was held at Mr. An’s restaurant.
  • Smile Generation:
  • From Nov. 1 to Dec. 13, 14 Smile Generation dental practices throughout Arizona collected over 1,000 toys for homeless families and families on the brink of homelessness. The monthlong holiday toy drive benefited Our Family Services, a Tucson-based organization committed to eliminating homelessness by providing services for homeless youth and families.
