Tucson ranks low nationally and among its Western peers for its labor participation rate, an indicator of workers' confidence in finding a good job and a key gauge of an economy's health and output and an indicator, according to the Making Action Possible Dashboard, a project of the Economic and Business Research Center the University of Arizona Eller College of Management.
