Indian Twist, in the space that formerly housed Twisted Tandoor, offers a $10.95 lunch buffet.

Two months after closing Twisted Tandoor Indian restaurant, Indian Twist will open at 4660 E. Camp Lowell Road on Wednesday, Jan. 10.

The Indian restaurant, affiliated withΒ JAM Culinary Concepts,Β is helmed by Chef Jesse Singh and operated by general manager Jimmy Auija, who grew up in India and worked in the kitchen of a Sikh temple as a kid, according to a press release. Aujia has lived in the U.S. since 1996 and worked in his family’s restaurants in Washington, Oregon and California.

The restaurant will offer a daily lunch buffet for $10.95 and the bar will include Indian beers on tap. The menu features a number of vegetarian dishes, as well as seafood, poultry and lamb.

Beginning Wednesday, Jan. 10, Indian Twist is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and until 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

Twisted Tandoor, a partnership between JAM and Roop Singh inspired by Singh’s late husband’s popular food truck of the same name, was open less than four months when it shuttered in mid-November. The restaurant, expected to open in January 2017, was beset by setbacks and didn’t open until late summer.
