The owners of La Buena Mexican Food, 234 and 238 E. 22nd St., have sold the restaurant property and tortilla factory for $1.8 million to Hilda Frisby Montoya, owner of Las Cazuelitas restaurant.
Las Cazuelitas opened a location in the former Chihuahua Charlie's building in September, said Oscar Ramirez, a Long Realty Commercial agent who represented the sellers, Carlos and Mary Jane Portillo of Hacienda De Sirupa LLC.
The property has two 4,750-square-foot buildings, connected by a common wall. Las Cazuelitas has a liquor license.
The buyer will continue to operate the tortilla factory as La Buena Mexican Food.
The sellers own La Fuente Restaurant & Lounge , at 1749 N. Oracle Road.
