U.S. Polo to open before
the holidays at new mall
U.S. Polo Assn. will open a store at Tucson Premium Outlets in mid-November, mall owner Simon says.
The 2,800-square-foot space will be next to Tommy Hilfiger at the outlet mall, which opened recently at Twin Peaks Road and Interstate 10.
U.S. Polo Assn. is the officially licensed brand of the United States Polo Association. The storeβs merchandise ranges from sportswear to fashion apparel and accessories for men and women.
City holding sales-tax workshops for businesses
Business owners can learn their sales-tax rights and responsibilities at workshops sponsored by the city of Tucson Finance Department.
Samples of sales tax records, worksheets and monthly returns will be explained. Sample returns can be completed. Email Taxpayer-Education@tucsonaz.gov or call 791-4681 for reservations.
The retail workshop is Thursday, Oct. 22, and the contracting workshop is Thursday, Oct. 29. Each will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Murphy-Wilmot Library, 530 N. Wilmot Road. There is no charge to attend.
HOA forum to focus
on living as neighbors
A workshop for homeowner and neighborhood associations in Pima County, βLiving Together as Neighbors,β will take place 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 7, at Abrams Public Health Center, 3950 S. Country Club Road.
The free forum is co-sponsored by Pima County and the Arizona Association of Community Managers. Presentations will be made on sustainable living, Tucson Electric Powerβs upcoming rate case, civility, and legislative and legal updates.
