Kuklinski promoted at Norris Design
Norris Design has promoted Jason Kuklinski to senior associate.
Kuklinski is a registered landscape architect, a certified commercial irrigation designer through the Irrigation Association and an Environmental Protection Agency WaterSense Partner.
Kuklinski has 12 years of irrigation design and planning experience.
MartΓnez appointed to advisory board
M. Elena MartΓnez, co-director of the Arizona Cancer Center's Cancer Prevention and Control Program, has been appointed to the National Cancer Institute's Board of Scientific Advisors.
MartΓnez, who will serve a five-year term on the NCI board, also serves as co-director of the cancer center's Cancer Health Disparities Institute. And she is the Richard H. Hollen Professor of Cancer Prevention at the cancer center and professor of epidemiology in the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health at the University of Arizona.
Komen for the Cure affiliate gets director
Jaimie Leopold has been named executive director for Susan G. Komen for the Cure Southern Arizona affiliate.
Leopold was most recently senior consultant at the Research Corporation for Science Advancement and was affiliated with Neighborhood Partners in Phoenix before moving to Tucson in 2002.
Prior to that, she was with the Arizona Department of Education and the Terros Behavior Health Center, also in Phoenix. Since 1986, she has provided consulting services to nonprofits in the Southwest through her firm, J. Leopold Consulting.
Kowalewski founds Staff Matters Inc.
Garrett Kowalewski has founded Staff Matters Inc. and serves as CEO and vice president of sales for the recruiting and staffing firm.
He will handle business development and provide clients with recruiting and staffing services in engineering, information technology, general technical and professional fields.
Kowalewski has 11 years of experience in the technical- and professional-recruiting industry in Southern Arizona.
