Bankhead named aide to Sahuarita manager
Teri Bankhead has joined Sahuarita government as the assistant to the town manager.
She will provide executive support to the town manager in the areas of research, policy, program management and public presentation.
Most recently, Bankhead was the assistant to the city manager in Milwaukie, Oregon. Her previous experience includes community development, program coordination and research.
She holds a master of arts in applied sociology and a bachelor of science in sociology from Northern Arizona University.
Carpenter promoted at Lewis Management
Lewis Management Resources, Inc., an Associa company, promoted Jena Carpenter to director of business development and marketing.
Carpenter has been with Associa since July 2005. She started entering data in the inspection department. After several promotions, she now manages a master-planned community.
She is immediate past president of the Southern Arizona Chapter of the Community Associations Institute and was recently elected to another three-year term on its board. She is a Professional Community Association Manager and has several other professional designations.
St. Louis named regent for national DUI college
Joseph P. St. Louis, a partner in the law firm Nesci & St. Louis PLLC, has been appointed to the Board of Regents of the National College for DUI Defense, Inc.
As one of the 14 regents, his duties include strategic planning, operations of the college, participating in large-scale challenges to DUI laws, and teaching DUI defense to other attorneys across the nation.
St. Louis is a 1987 graduate of the University of Arizona College of Law and a past president of the Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice.
Seidel joins law firm of Farhang & Medcoff
Ryan R. Seidel has joined Farhang & Medcoff, in the corporate law and litigation groups.
His recent experience is in advising producers, wholesalers and retailers on regulatory topics within the alcohol beverage industry, and representing fiduciaries, including bankruptcy trustees.
Seidel attended Catalina Foothills High School, and the University of Arizona for his undergraduate degree in business administration and his juris doctor degree.
Arvizu opens Allstate office on Valencia Road
Allstate Insurance Company has a new Tucson office, independently owned and operated by agent Ricardo Arvizu.
The agency sells auto, property and life insurance, financial services including mutual funds and annuities, and insurance for boats, recreational vehicles and businesses. The office is at 3036 W. Valencia Road, No. 272B.
