Sonora Investment names Gaines managing director

Sonora Investment Management has named L. Graham Gaines IV as its new managing director.

For the past decade, Gaines has been active in private equity investments, raising capital and managing businesses. Prior to that, he was a senior vice president with Wachovia Securities, where he focused on institutional equity services and high-net-worth capital management.

Before joining Wachovia, Gaines was an associate director of institution equity sales with Cyrus J. Lawrence, an institutional research firm in New York City. Prior to that, he was a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch for more than five years.

Albrecht is new mortgage banker at Bank of Arizona

Bank of Arizona has hired Julie Albrecht as a mortgage banker in its Tucson office.

Albrecht has more than 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry.

Prior to joining Bank of Arizona, she worked with Vantage Mortgage, American Home Mortgage and Fairway Mortgage.

Oliphant now practicing at Radiology Ltd.

Dr. Jason S. Oliphant has joined Radiology Ltd.

Oliphant has been board certified in radiology since 2003.

He received his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine and completed a felllowship in musculoskeletal radiology imaging and spine intervention at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

Baca is sales director at Latitude Catering

Tomas Baca joins Latitude Catering as the company's director of sales.

Baca has 25 years experience in sales and 14 years in catering and hospitality. He previously was food and beverage director at Four Hills Country Club in Albuquerque.

Wycoff takes exec director spot at Atria Valley Manor

Atria Valley Manor has named Jake Wycoff executive director of the independent senior living community.

Previously, Wycoff served as the community sales director at Atria Bell Court Gardens in Tucson. Prior to joining Atria Senior Living, he served as the director of marketing with two area credit unions. He also served in the military as an Army band specialist, in public service in corrections, and as a Tucson police officer for four years.

A member of the United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona board of directors since 2009, Wycoff is chairman of the United Way Inclusion Council and a member of the United Way Young Leaders' Society.
