A new Walmart Neighborhood Market has opened its doors in Amphi Plaza on Tucson’s north side.
The store — at 831 E. Fort Lowell Road, near North First Avenue — is the first retailer at the revitalized Amphi Plaza, creating 95 jobs.
Walmart Neighborhood Markets are smaller Walmart stores that focus on groceries and pharmacy items.
The 46,000-square-foot store features made-to-order pizza and Walmart’s free online grocery pickup service.
Hours of operation are 6 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week.
