Tucson’s young up-and-coming business professionals were honored Friday morning at the 2016 40 Under 40 awards ceremony.

The honorees were also recognized for their impact on the community.

Among them were Stephanie Bermudez of the Gadsden Co. and Tucson Hispanic Chamber, who was named Woman of the Year; and Man of the Year Greg Taylor of Cenpatico Integrated Care.

Bermudez focuses on building up shared spaces, including training, consulting and research. She is also program manager of the Tucson Hispanic Chamber’s Young Entrepreneurs Academy.

Taylor is the regional vice president of community affairs for Cenpatico and previously served as the chief community and public relations officer at Community Partners, Inc./Community Partnership of Southern Arizona.

The 12th annual 40 Under 40 program was attended by nearly 600 people. It is sponsored by the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Arizona Daily Star, along with presenting sponsor Snell & Wilmer LLP Law Offices.
