Tucsonans will be able go into green-chile overdrive Tuesday when Blake’s Lotaburger opens its second location here, at 1600 W. Valencia Road.
The New Mexico chain is staking its claim on the south side by opening in a spacious shopping center with a Walmart Supercenter, west of Interstate 19.
It will open its doors at 10 a.m. June 7. Expect a line.
The first Blake’s in Tucson opened April 1 at 2810 E. Speedway.
Blake’s was recently named the best green-chile cheeseburger in New Mexico by readers of USA Today. From the article:
