A new southeast-side hotel and a long-awaited Dave & Buster’s are coming soon.

A 73-unit hotel will be built at 9095 S. Rita Road, in the Interstate Commerce Park, just north of Interstate 10.

Seaver Franks Architects Inc. is the contractor for the $4.1 million project, but information on what type of hotel it will be was not available.

Over on the south side of town, Dave & Busters has pulled a $971,000 building permit for a 30,085 square-foot restaurant. The Dallas-based restaurant and video arcade will be located in the Tucson Marketplace, near Park Avenue and I-10. It is expected to open in the spring.

Other projects going up around town include:

  • A new Casa de los Niños family center will be built at 1120 N. Fifth Ave. The permit is for an $8.3 million facility of more than 61,000 square feet.
  • A $1.5 million assisted-living center is going up at 7700 S. Vivaldi Court, near Old Spanish Trail and Lazy R Ranch Road.
  • Worldview got a building permit for a $5.3 million , 142,450 square-foot facility at 1805 E. Aerospace Parkway.
  • A permit was issued to Raytheon for a $3.6 million, 60,000-square-foot office building at 3301 E. Global Loop.
  • Hobby Lobby is building a new north-side store at 6484 N. Oracle Road. The permit for the 57,000-square-foot store is for a $2.3 million struture.
  • CVS Pharmacy is building a $1 million store at 6488 N. Oracle Road.
  • TJ Maxx is going in at the Continental Ranch Retail Center, 8030 N. Cortaro Road. The building permit is for a $491,000, 21,000-square-foot store.
