High occupancy rates make complexes like the 16-unit Sunrise Apartments, 1315 N Sixth Ave., popular with investors.

Investors continue to snap up multifamily complexes in the Tucson market.

As the secondary market for investors, Tucson offers well-located apartments with high occupancy rates, commercial brokers say.

One such complex, with 16 units at 1315 N. Sixth Ave., has sold for $565,000.

Tom N. and Candy Lanza bought Sunrise Apartments, near the University of Arizona, from Max Performance Inc. Allan Mendelsberg, with Picor, represented both parties.

Other recent commercial transactions include:

  • Southern Arizona Urgent Care LLC leased 5,817 square feet of retail space in the Ina Meredith Shopping Center, 3662 W. Ina Road, from Ina Meredith LLC. This will be its fourth location in the Tucson market. Aaron LaPrise, with Picor, represented the tenant, and Pete Villaescusa and Jesse Peron, with CBRE, represented the landlord.
  • Austin Electric Services LLC leased 3,000 square feet at 1030 E. Mill St. from Rich Rodgers Investment Inc. Brandon Rodgers, with Picor, represented the landlord, and Robert Chester, with Quantum Realty Partners LLC, represented the tenant.
  • Wu Li Juan, dba House of Cheng, leased 2,864 square feet of retail space at 5975 W. Western Way Circle from Trinum Properties LLC. Frank Arrotta, of Tucson Realty & Trust Co., represented both parties.
  • Rosati’s Pizza Sports Pub leased 2,800 square feet at 12152 N. Rancho Vistoso Blvd. from SB & FB Vistoso Plaza Shopping Center LLC. Robert Nolan, of Oxford Realty Advisors, handled the transaction.
  • Arizona Community Physicians PC leased 2,145 square feet of medical office space at 1055 N. La CaΓ±ada Drive in Green Valley from Healthcare Realty Services Inc. Tom Nieman, with Picor, represented the landlord.
  • Rincon Recovery LLC leased 2,084 square feet at 5956 E. Pima St. from La Rubia LLC. Isaac Figueroa, with Picor, represented the landlord, and Mark Klase, with Keller Williams Southern Arizona, represented the tenant.
  • Dara Davis leased 1,968 square feet in Ventana Village, on the southwest corner of Sunrise and Kolb roads, to open Sunset Interiors. David Hammack, of Volk Co. Commercial Real Estate, represented the landlord, Westwood Financial Corp.
  • Papa Murphy’s Take N’ Bake Pizza leased 1,200 square feet in the Houghton Town Center, 9160 S. Houghton Road. Craig Finfrock, of Commercial Retail Advisors LLC, represented the tenant, and Shannon Murphy, of Diamond Ventures, represented the landlord, HTC Shops III LLC.
