Name: Chris McAlister 

Years at UA: 1996-98

Accomplishments: McAlister was a co-captain of the team in 1998, when the Wildcats posted a 12-1 record. Also in 1998, McAlister was a unanimous first-team All-American selection and he won the Mosi Tatupu Special Teams Player of the Year Award. He was inducted into the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame in 2003. McAlister was a three-time first-team All-Pac-10 selection (1996, 1997, 1998).

• Career interceptions: 3rd, 18 interceptions 

• Career passes broken up: Tied for 11th, 27 passes broken up 

• Single-season kickoff return average: 7th, 29.5 yards per return (1998)

• Longest kickoff returns: Tied for 1st — McAlister had two 100-yard kickoff returns during his UA career (against UCLA in 1996 and against Hawaii in 1998)
