Phyllis Goodman has long been Arizonaโs most famous local fan, in the noncelebrity division. The 83-year old woman is always a noticeably enthusiastic crowd member always dancing, often appearing in Arizonaโs pregame hype video just before tip-off.
Every game, Jimmy Johns sends a hyped-up employee into the crowd to give a free sandwich to a fan.
Sunday, that fan was Phyllis.
Later, the Jumbotron showed Phyllis dancing, of course, with the prompt to โmake some noiseโ.
The ZonaZoo obliged with a loud cheer.ย
