Tucson Village Farm’s annual festival is this Saturday.
David GilmoreTucson Village Farm’s seventh annual Harvest Festival is here!
Events include a petting zoo, healthy food demos, gourmet food samples, live music featuring R & P Music Factory, farm tours, educational activities for kids, farm-fresh produce for purchase, hayrides and food trucks.
This year, organizers also are celebrating the farm’s recent expansion with tours and activities across the street.
When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4.
Where: 4210 N. Campbell Ave.
Cost: Admission is free, but $2 gets you a map and passport to the farm, along with three food samples.
Sunday: Dogtoberfest for Handi-Dogs

Ryan Revock / for the Star 2014Billed as a carnival for dogs and their people, Dogtoberfest features games, contests, raffles, vendors, a live band, food and a beer garden. And, all well-mannered dogs on a 6-foot or shorter leash are welcome.
And the best part? All proceeds go to Handi-Dogs, a nonprofit that helps people with disabilities improve their quality of life and gain independence by teaching them how to train their own dogs to be their service dogs.
When: 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 5

Sunday: All Souls Procession

Courtesy Lisa RiggsThe All Souls Procession will wend through new grounds this year, but the intent has not changed one bit: It is still a homegrown, sacred event where Tucsonans gather to grieve, honor and celebrate those who have passed.
Participants often wear costumes, paint their faces, and carry pictures of those they have loved and lost. The grand finale is an explosion of music and dance that continues the sense of reverence with which the procession started.
Where: The new route starts near North Grande Avenue and East Speedway
When: Participants start to gather about 4 p.m. and the procession begins at 6 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 5

Halloween may be over, but that doesn't mean you still can't dress up this weekend. Tucson Comic-Con brings an "epic community-based pop culture experience for all." Watch the costume contest, game with new friends and take photos with celebrities.

Tucson’s annual Celtic Festival & Scottish Highland Games has flashes of Irish traditions alongside American festival classics.
