Joshua Chuang, the University of Arizonaβs Center for Creative Photographyβs chief curator, has resigned after less than two years on the job.
Chuang was the subject of a profile in Thursdayβs Caliente.
He joined the center in January of 2014, coming from the Yale University Art Gallery, where he was associate curator of photography and digital media.
Chuang, who is in Europe and was unable to be reached, stepped into a position that had been vacant since 2009, when Britt Salvesen, who served as both chief curator and director, stepped down.
No plans have been made for a search for his successor, said Chris Sigurdson, a spokesman for the UA.
