Name: Darryll Lewis
Years at UA: 1987-90
Accomplishments: In 1990, Lewis was a co-captain of the team, a unanimous first-team All-American selection and a first-team All-Pac-10 selection. He also won the Jim Thorpe Award and was named the Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year that year as well. He was inducted into the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame in 1995.
Lewis also ranks in the top 10 in UA history in the following categories:
• Career interceptions: Tied for 5th, 14 interceptions
• Single-season interceptions: Tied for 5th, seven interceptions (1990)
• Single-season yards on interception returns: 1st, 192 yards (on seven interceptions in 1990)
