Arizona guard Kobi Simmons (2) manages to draw a charging foul against Cal State Bakersfield guard Dedrick Basile (5) in the first half of their game at McKale Center, Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, Tucson, Ariz. Kelly Presnell / Arizona Daily Star

Games against teams like Cal State Bakersfield usually mean dunks by the host Wildcats.

Arizona did so on Tuesday at times, certainly. Center Chance Comanche slammed a powerful one-handed dunk on top of Bakersfield’s Moataz Aly.

The highlight dunk of the night, though, came with 8:37 left in the first half. That’s when 5-foot-10-inch Roadrunners guard Dedrick Basile rose above guard Kobi Simmons and dunked on the high-flying UA freshman. On his way back up the court, a hyped-up Basile yelled something unprintable in Simmons’ direction.Β
