Four part cooking class to teach kids the basics: understanding nutrition, reading labels, shopping for food and preparing a basic lunch or dinner. Ages 7 and up. Indoor Tin-smithing Demonstration and Activity for Kids — Presidio San Agustín del Tucson Museum, 196 N. Court Ave. Blacksmiths will demonstrate the art of tin-smithing and show visitors how to create beautiful tin luminarias and other tin crafts. 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Aug. 26. $5. 837-8119.
