On Saturday, the Historic Miracle Mile Tour and Festival will celebrate the mid-20th century heyday of the original Miracle Mile with its neon signs, motor courts and restaurants.

There will be a street fair featuring bands such as Rhythm Dragons, artists and food vendors, as well as a classic car show and a '40s and '50s fashion show.

Primavera Preschool and Child Care Center will have face painters, balloon artists, musicians, and arts and crafts for kids.

From 9 a.m. to noon, there will be presentations at College Place, 1601 N. Oracle Road. Local guides and historians will lead tours of historical sites, such as the Wayward Winds Lodge and Ghost Ranch Lodge.

Primary parking will be at Pima Community College's Downtown Campus, 1255 N. Stone Ave. Shuttles will transport people from the parking lot to the festival from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Additionally, shuttles will run half-hour tours of the area from 9:45 a.m. to noon. A self-driving map of historical sites also will be available.
