The inaugural production of the Alliance Performance Center of Tucson is this weekend.
Tucson director Sheldon Metz has been working on the center for a few years now, looking for a building that will be a suitable home for many of the homeless theaters in the Old Pueblo. The Tucson Alliance of Dramatic Artists presents the first production: the world premiere of David Middleman’s “Senior Moments,” a play about a young doctor recruited to work with Alzheimer’s patients. Metz directs. It is the winner of TADA’s 2015 playwriting competition.
