The Melting Pot fondue restaurant in Foothills Mall closed Tuesday for a month-long remodeling project.
It is expected to reopen in early September with Kelly Cooper, a partner and area manager for the three Phoenix area Melting Pot locations, as the new owner, according to a news release.
The Melting Pot of Tucson has been a date-night fixture on the northwest sides since opening on Oct. 28, 2003, at the Foothills Mall, 7395 N. La Cholla Blvd. Its menu features cheese and chocolate fondues, entrΓ©es and salads.
