The Melting Pot fondue restaurant in Foothills Mall closed Tuesday for a month-long remodeling project.
It is expected to reopen in early September with Kelly Cooper, a partner and area manager for the three Phoenix area Melting Pot locations, as the new owner, according to a news release.
The Melting Pot of Tucson has been a date-night fixture on the northwest sides since opening on Oct. 28, 2003, at the Foothills Mall, 7395 N. La Cholla Blvd. Its menu features cheese and chocolate fondues, entrées and salads.
