Now through 10 p.m. Sunday you can get tickets for Vereen's Nov. 28 "Steppin' Out Live" show for as low as $19 with the offer code UAPRESENTS.
OK, so it's a bit tricky to navigate once you go to Fox's ticketing site. Instructions are on top of the page, but here's the breakdown:
• Select your tickets — regularly priced from $29 to $82.
• Type in the coupon code UAPRESENTS and hit "unlock."
• Select the seats by clicking on the white boxes on the right side of the tickets.
• Then go to the scroll-down menu on the top left side of the menu and select UA Presents. (Broadway in Tucson also has a $10 off promotion going on.)
It will then adjust to the discounted price.
The Tony Award-winning singer/dancer, who has taught masterclasses at the University of Arizona in years past, goes on stage at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28. His show pays tribute to Broadway and Frank Sinatra, with songs from great musicals including "Wicked," which Vereen, 69, appeared in in 2005.
Student prices for "Steppin' Out" are $15 with valid ID at the Box Office, 17 W. Congress St.
