Peter Leon grew up knowing what he wanted to do: Make movies.
And the Tucsonan has been doing just that for years β first calling on friends and creating short films, then advancing to music videos and feature films. Each step of the way, he taught himself how to do it, and how to get better.
Leon, 21, will have the world premiere of his latest film, βCopper Creek: Genesisβ at 8:30 p.m. Friday at Grand Cinemas Oracle View, 4690 N. Oracle Road. Tickets are $7.
It looks gory. But itβs a zombie Western comedy β what would you expect? It is slated to be released on Blu-ray and DVD.
