Remember that catchy yet annoying little Subway jingle:
"Five. Five dollar. Five dollar footlong." Repeat twice then add, 'It's catch-catch-catching on."
They will have to change the lyrics now that Subway has raised the price of its classic footlong sandwiches from $5 to $6. The $5 price had been around since 2007.
Possibly to ease the pain of the price hike, the national chain of sandwich shops is offering any sub including its premium subs for $6 a footlong throughout the month of February.
Wonder if the deal will come with a new jingle? Stay tuned.
