Vero Amore — which closed its original location last Sunday to prepare for a move down the street — will open at its new space at 11 a.m. today.

Vero Amore is now at Plaza Palomino in the spot formerly occupied by the now-closed Luna Bella. Its new location is significantly larger than its old one in the Bashas’ shopping center, 3305 N. Swan Road. The relocated Vero at 2960 N. Swan Road boasts a bigger menu, more staff and a patio, as well as private dining facilities for parties.

Still, this is only a temporary move — the eatery will move into a permanent spot that has indoor and outdoor seating. It’s expected to open next spring.

Vero Amore, which specializes in Italian cuisine and specifically authentic Neapolitan-style pizza, is owned by brothers Aric and Joshua Mussman.

They opened a second Vero Amore at Dove Mountain Boulevard and Tangerine Road in Marana in 2008. The brothers also own Noble Hops in Oro Valley.
