Eric Buss

It would appear America agrees with the trio of "America's Got Talent" judges when it comes to Tucson magician Eric Buss's "Spring Snake Symphony."

Buss did not make the cut in tonight's so-called results show, losing out to fellow YouTube contestant Clint Carvalho and his Extreme Parrots.

Earlier today, Buss told us that he didn't think his act was what "America's  Got Talent" was looking for. It was a sentiment echoed by the judges Howie Mandel, Sharon Osbourne and Howard Stern, who all seemed to agree the act was better suited for children's birthday parties than TV. But the audience at Tuesday's live show, shot in New Jersey, showered Buss with applause.

"Three thousand people in that audience told me they liked the act and I’ll take that any day over the three judges,” the 37-year-old father of one told us.

Tucsonans can see Buss, a regular at magic clubs and on cruise ships, perform the "Spring Snake Symphony" in Tucson Aug. 25. That's when he will appear in the 25th anniversary of the Stars of Magic show at Temple of Music and Art. Click here for ticket information.
