It will easily be the biggest concert in Oro Valley's history when

Rachel Platten, American Authors, Plain White T's, Matt Nathanson, Parachute and Needtobreathe hit the makeshift stage at The Golf Club at Vistoso on Sept. 13.

Tickets for the My 92.9 Oro Valley Music Festival, presented by Diamond Children's Medical Center, are on sale now for $35 at ticketfly.com; it's $10 more at the gate. Children 12 and younger will be admitted free of charge.

Part of the proceeds benefit Shine On Tucson, a program at Diamond Children's Medical Center that offers comfort and support for families with children being treated at the hospital.

This will be the second time we'll seen newcomer Rachel Platten on a Tucson stage; she created quite the buzz earlier this year when her "Fight Song" reached No. 8 on the Billboard charts and Taylor Swift tapped her to join her on stage last month to sing the song before 50,000 people in Philadelphia.

Platten makes her Tucson debut Aug. 8 at the AVA at Casino del Sol with Colbie Caillat and Christina Perri's "The Girls Night Out, Boys Can Come Too Tour." Click here for tickets.
