It's National Fettuccine Alfredo Day (yes, that's a thing.)
In case you're one to never miss a holiday, we wanted to make sure you had plenty of options when deciding where to have your celebratory lunch or dinner.
The good people at USA Today love to make lists about food, curating the tastiest and most impressive restaurants in their "10Best" series, of which Italian food is today's focus.
Tucson may not be known for its Italian food, but our town has a handful of gems, and as USA Today points out, is "home to a handful of thriving family-owned Italian eateries that bring the flavors and traditions of Italy to Arizona."
Longtime favorites Mama Louisa's and Guiseppe's are on the list, which is comprised solely of local spots (no chain restaurants.)
Other additions include Vero Amore, North and Dominick's.
Regardless of whether your prefer classic Italian or something a little modern, if you're craving Fettuccine Alfredo, it's a safe bet that it'll be on most of these menus.
