This ain't no Tex-Mex ... (Thank goodness for that.) These tacos come from further east, around South Carolina in fact. Which is fitting, because they're made at the midtown Southern restaurant May's Counter Chicken & Waffles

Apparently, this is actually a thing in some parts of the country. You take pulled pork that's smothered in a sweet brown sugar Carolina barbecue sauce, and you slap a bunch of it in a tortilla. Voila! You've got a Carolina taco. And you know what, it's pretty decent. I mean, you probably wouldn't find those tortillas and shredded cheddar cheese at an open-air market in Mexico City, but that's kinda the point right?

Weird fact: I have never put Frank's RedHot on a taco before. But you know what? It's a great idea!!!
