Emily Kinney and Norman Reedus take a selfie at Comic-Con in 2014.

Emily Kinney was supposed to play a Rialto Theatre show at Club Congress early last November.

But there was a scheduling conflict. So the show was moved to March 10.

And then the announcement last week of a second “unforeseen scheduling conflict.”

No rescheduled date this time. The show has been canceled and anyone holding tickets — we seem to recall seeing a “sold out” sign on the Rialto website — can get a refund from the Rialto or ticketfly.com

Kinney, an actress-singer who’s best known for her role as Beth Greene on AMC’s “The Walking Dead,” posted a note on Facebook on Feb. 24 explaining that she is “working on a cool TV show (yay!) but due to scheduling conflicts with the shooting days, canceling these tour dates became unavoidable.” In addition to Tucson, she was booked to play a Phoenix date on March 9.

Meanwhile, here are some shows from the Rialto, 318 E. Congress St., that take place this week. For tickets, visit ticketfly.com

  • Alt-country duo Freakwater — Janet Bean and Catherine Irwin — hit the stage at 9:30 p.m. Friday, March 4, at Flycatcher, 340 E. Sixth St. $12 in advance, $14 at the door.
  • Tucson hip-hop, rock band Lethal Injektion will host an EP release party at the Rialto with fellow local bands Cryptic Wisdom, SouthPaw, Solace in Nothing, The Endless Obsession, Waysted Youth, Monstrosity and other special guests at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 5.
