Tucson’s Steff and the Articles will honor their 10th anniversary with a show at 191 Toole. The band mixes jazz, classical and folk into its pop-leaning sound.

Oh how time flies when you’re chasing a rock-and-roll dream.

Tucson’s Steff and the Articles — fronted by singer-songwriter Steff Koeppen — will celebrate their 10th anniversary with a show Saturday, Jan. 25, at 191 Toole.

In their first decade, the band, which incorporates jazz, classical and folk into its pop-leaning sound, has:

Released several albums, starting with their DIY eponymous album in 2010, followed by “Stories You Can’t Tell” two years later. That album featured the single “Two Cities,” which MTV picked up in 2013. The band also has a couple

  • EPs to its credit and its most recent album, 2017’s “Timekeeper.”
  • Opened for national acts including Great Big World, HOLYCHILD and Copeland. Koeppen also was featured on Copeland’s album “Ixora.”
  • Toured the West Coast, throughout the Southwest and Mexico.

Saturday’s 21-and-older show at 191 Toole, 191 E. Toole Ave., begins at 8 p.m. Tucson band Dirt Friends and duo Night Weather open the show, which is presented by the Rialto Theatre.
