2017 has been a tumultuous, roller-coaster year and weβre not even at the finish line.

Thank goodness funny man Jay Leno likes us. Heβs giving Tucson a belated Christmas gift on Dec. 28 when he headlines a show at the Casino del Sol Event Center, 5655 W. Valencia Road.

- Arizona Daily Star’s own Dave Fitzsimmons is hosting “Fitz and Friends at the Whistle Stop,” a benefit comedy showcase at downtown’s Whistle Stop, 125 W. Fifth St., on Oct. 29, Proceeds benefit Exodus Community Services and the event also features Tucson comedians Nancy Stanley, Josiah Osego, Dave Membrila and Unscrewed Comedy Improv.
