Kobi Simmons received a little more playing time in the first half than he had in recent games. The freshman played five minutes and attempted four shots, making two of them.
He didn’t play in the second half.
Simmons saw a familiar face on the court, though, in Xavier’s Kaiser Gates, a former teammate of Simmons’ from St. Francis High School in Alpharetta, Georgia.
